Paddeln macht Spass – Kanu & SUP on Tour (15.07.22 – 02.08.22)

10 years of Paddeln Macht Spass! On selected days in the period from 15.07.22 - 02.08.22, the Canoe & SUP on Tour took place again this year. Once again, Lars Thierling and his team brought canoeing, kayaking and stand up paddling closer to a large number of people.

The perfect symbiosis of sailing and festival - Travemünder Woche (22.07.22 – 31.07.22)

From 22.07.2022 to 31.07.2022, Travemünde had once again opened its doors to visitors of all kinds for the 133rd Travemünder Woche. With world, European and German championships, the Travemünder Woche offered a wide variety of sporting highlights for all age and performance classes, and for all types of boats, from youth dinghies to ocean-going yachts.

The biggest sailing event in the world - Kieler Woche (18.06.22 – 26.06.22)

From 18.06.22 to 26.06.22 it was once again time to cast off in Kiel! A total of 326 races in 22 boat classes and disciplines plus the seagoing yachts were brought to the finish on nine regatta courses. Among them were the winners of the May newsletter, who were allowed to go on an excursion to the regatta courses on the first Saturday.

The largest sailing event on Lake Constance – Rund Um (17.06.22 – 19.06.22)

The 71st Rund Um took place from 17.06.22 to 19.06.22. 238 boats started the long-distance regatta at night this year. The winner this year was the Skinfit, which crossed the finish line after about 14 hours.

From Wiesbaden to Emmerich - Rheinwoche (03.06.22 – 06.06.22)

The sailing regatta "Rheinwoche", which has traditionally started in Cologne at the beginning of June for 100 years, could therefore also run under the motto of the song "Dat Wasser vun Kölle is jot" by the cult band Bläck Fööss. For the anniversary of the longest sailing regatta on the Rhine, members could win a trip on the "Eureka", the ship accompanying the Rheinwoche, in the April newsletter of the "boot.club". The meeting point for the joyful trip on the Rhine was on Saturday, 04.06.22, at the Düsseldorf Yacht Club. From there, the second stage of the Rheinwoche went to Wesel.

One of the biggest sailing events in Europe – Nordseewoche (03.06.22 – 06.06.22)

The 87th Nordseewoche in its 100th year was a complete success. Around 120 yachts made Helgoland the centre of the German sailing scene over the Whitsun weekend (03.06.22 - 06.06.22). The highlight of the Saturday evening was the legendary boot Düsseldorf Regatta Party in the Nordseehalle. The award ceremonies for the return regattas and Pantaenius Rund Skagen traditionally take place in autumn.

The Opti sailors meet again in Kiel – Goldener Opti-Cup (21.05.22 – 22.05.22)

This year it was finally time again: Strander Bucht was finally full of Optis again!
After the cancellation in 2020 and the reduced and postponed staging in 2021, the regatta could take place again as usual. The conditions could hardly have been more different: Crisp wind on Saturday and a lukewarm breeze on Sunday - all the stops had to be pulled out!
