Transporting watersports equipment correctly

For maximum flexibility and freedom of choice on your camping or caravanning holiday by the water, it makes sense to buy your own equipment before you go. But regardless of whether it’s surfing, wakeboarding, SUP or paddling you want: you’ll need space for the equipment. So how and where are boards and kayaks best stowed?

Travel expert Lars Thierling explains: “The basic requirement is the correct driving licence class. With a regular car driving licence, you can usually drive vehicles with up to 3.5 tons, including a trailer of maximum 750 kg.
