Seakeeper Unveils Two Breakthrough Products

The Seakeeper 10.5 and Seakeeper 14 for Unmatched Stabilization in 50-68 ft. Boats

LEESPORT, Pa. (January 19th, 2024) - Seakeeper, the leader in marine motion control, has launched two new gyrostabilizer models the Seakeeper 10.5 and the Seakeeper 14. These models call on a new era in marine stabilization, exemplifying Seakeeper’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of performance.

The Seakeeper 10.5, ideal for boats 50-62 ft., marks a pivotal advancement that builds upon the success of the cornerstone Seakeeper 9 but offers boat enthusiasts 17% more angular momentum in 23% less volume. The Seakeeper 10.5, which evolved from its two predecessors, the Seakeeper 9 and the inaugural M7000, continues Seakeeper’s legacy of innovation.

The Seakeeper 14 bridges an important gap in the current model lineup between the Seakeeper 9 and the Seakeeper 18. With an option that is 43% smaller and 33% lighter than the Seakeeper 18, the Seakeeper 14 is ideal for boats 55-68 ft. Compared to the Seakeeper 9, the Seakeeper 14 offers 56% more gyroscopic power in just 4% more overall volume, providing boat owners with an ideal solution that perfectly balances size and unparalleled gyroscopic power.

The two new models come after the launch of the Seakeeper 4, Seakeeper 4.5, and Seakeeper 40 in August of this year, following the company’s ongoing innovations to provide the most stabilization in the smallest, lightest, and most power-efficient designs.

The Seakeeper 10.5 and Seakeeper 14 are equipped with our latest engineering advancements. Featuring an innovative asymmetric flywheel design for reduced height and optimized performance, a space-saving single-cylinder brake system with enhanced reliability, and corrosion-resistant components, these units redefine efficiency and durability.

The Seakeeper ConnectBox streamlines user experience by integrating with onboard MFDs and eliminating the need for a dedicated display. Design improvements, including fewer mounting bolts and a modular frame, make installation and service faster and easier. Additionally, the incorporation of field-replaceable bearings, a feature currently offered on the Seakeeper 9 and all larger models, ensures simple and cost-effective lifecycle maintenance.

“The Seakeeper 10.5 and Seakeeper 14 represent our commitment to providing our customers with the best performance,” says Andrew Semprevivo, Seakeeper President and CEO. “The Seakeeper 10.5 emerges as a monumental upgrade, outshining its predecessor with 50% more NMS per cubic inch, while the Seakeeper 14 strategically fills a critical gap, introducing a balance of power and efficiency for boats 55-68 ft.”

The Seakeeper 10.5 is expected to begin shipment in July 2024 with a retail cost of $124,900. The Seakeeper 14 will follow, beginning shipment in September 2024 with a retail price of $149,900. The Seakeeper 9 will remain in production to support the transition of these as well as future models.
